How SM-2 Works

The SM-2 algorithm calculates optimal review intervals based on your performance. Good recalls increase the interval; poor recalls reset it. The ease factor adjusts to match your learning pace.

Review Schedule

New words start with a 1-day interval. After each successful review, the interval increases (e.g., 1 → 3 → 7 → 14 → 30 days). You'll be notified when words are due for review.
